Security In God's Call - Lesson 10

What is the purpose?

Being okay in leadership with other strong leaders around you

2 Samuel 23:18-19

1. What do you realize about Abashi from the scripture?

Abishai was a skilled and talented leader, he himself killed 300 men in a single battle and he was as famous as the three. (1. Joshobeam that killed 800 men. 2. Eleazar who fought with David fought until his hand was connected to the sword. 3. Shaman who defended the lentil field by himself.) The three were as talented,  strong warriors that would make Abishai's job as the leader of the 30 easier and more difficult. The scripture says Abishai was the leader of the 30 which include the three but he was not apart of the three... He did not go on the "special" mission even though he was qualified.

2. With whom do you have influence?

3. Are you secure in your leadership?

4. Are you okay with leading others that have killed more than you...

in other words people that maybe more skillful, talented or popular.

5. When you lead are you good at giving others credit or celebrating them even if you did a lot of the work? How does this benefit a leader?

6. Can you be content as a leader doing what or being were God has you?
